Is bamboo charcoal bag can reduce air pollution?

Many people use bamboo charcoal bag at home or car ro reduce air pollution, is it work.
There are mainly two kind of air pollution at home and car.
One is formaldehyde gas, most furniture use painting and new decorate hourse with formaldehydem, very hurt to human body.
Another air pollution we call it fine particulate matters, that's pm2.5.
Use formaldehyde detector and air particle counter test it can find, bamboo charcoal
work for formaldehyde but not help to reduce fine particulate matters.
For for some area with serious air pollution more recommend use air purifier, it can filtering all air pollution issue.
